My first experience with ceramics was in college and I immediately fell in love with the process. After that first class I proceeded to take a ceramics class every term until finishing school. In the years since that time I have always taken a class here and there and in the last few years have found my way back to working with clay on a consistent basis. This has led me to discover that making pottery is what I feel called to do. In the last year I bought my own wheel, a small kiln, and have been converting my garage into my own home studio. All of my pieces are handmade and unique. I aim to celebrate the handmade element in what I make and enjoy the marks of the hand that can be seen on every piece. Making pottery is something I am truly passionate about and my hope is that each piece will bring inspiration to the user and a connection to their own unique creativity.
